Project Runway Surfstyle Challenge

This week's Project Runway (Season 6) episode totally hit the right spot with me - 1) their challenge was to create a California surf inspired look 2) Rachel Bilson was the guest judge! Oh, and Tim Gunn actually wore flipflops and raybans.


Whereas I don't always "get" what the designers make of their challenges, I'm always truly impressed with how quickly they pull of to sow together some uniquely beautiful garments. Here are some shots from this challenge. I especially adore the poofy dress with the zipper detail and the colors of the fabric on the flowy dress.

Autumn Trend: The Cropped Leather Jacket

Wow, the new H&M cropped "leather" biker jacket I bought just yesterday is already sold out! Can't wait it to pair with skirts, leggins, and my new black Zara boots for fall, um, autumn! But, you're lucky, they still have the version with a zipper I showed here.
